The deadlines for these applications are as follows:

• String positions (live audition) – 15 September 2024, with live auditions scheduled in Durban for 4 October 2024
• String positions (DVD submission deadline) – 27 September 2024
• Clarinet position (live audition) – 15 November 2024, with live auditions scheduled in Durban for 2 December 2024
• Clarinet position (DVD submission deadline) – 29 November 2024.
• Auditions are open to both South African and non-South African residents and citizens, though preference will be given to suitably qualified South African candidates.
