We’re so thankful for your support
A message from our chief executive and artistic director
I wanted to take the time to write to you to thank you for your unwavering loyalty and support. We are so blown away by the generosity of our supporters during what has been a very trying time for our organisation, and indeed the global arts sector.
We have been challenged on every level as the Corona Virus has left trails of upheaval and unsolicited change for us all. As an organisation we have always bent toward the positive, and it is with this outlook that we have been able to explore new horizons, accelerating our digital reach through various videos and media collaborations.
We’ve sought to bring hope and upliftment to our fellow humans, keeping the arts alive and meaningful throughout the uncertainty of this time. We continue to explore avenues for using the unique tools at our disposal, joining hands with those whose resourcefulness and creativity has opened a new world for us all during this time.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the help and support of people like you; people who act on their belief that music and the arts must forge a new path ahead and remain an important pillar of society. On behalf of the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra’s board of directors, management, musicians, and audience members, you have our deep and sincere appreciation.
Warm regards,
Bongani Tembe
Chief Executive and Artistic Director
